Sponsor a Green Room Child for the December 10  Christmas Party

Kingdom House Kids is a mission project of KUMC which gives support to the sixteen children and teachers in the Green Room of Kingdom House Day Care Center throughout the year and provides gifts for the students at Christmas time. Can you help by sponsoring a child this Christmas? A simple gift of a book, a memory game and some school supplies is all that is required. See the attached flyer for list of needed items, and please bring your gifts as instructed in the flyer (some wrapped, some not) to the Mission Window by Sunday, December 9th. Please seal them all in a bag marked Kingdom House Kids/Green Room for Mary Jo Brown so they don’t end up getting lost in the Brown Bag Collection going to Kingdom  House. A Donations are also appreciated for classrooms supplies needed throughout the year.  Contact Mary Jo Brown at maryjo.brown@sbcglobal.net  , 314-965-1939 or Lynn Hill at lynnhillstl@gmail.com , 314-966-5938 for details to sponsor a child.  We are happy to be your personal shopper if needed.

Meacham Park Christmas Party December 15
Once again, KUMC will be helping out with the Moms of Meacham Kids Christmas Party. We will provide hot dogs and buns, cookies and goodie bags for approximately 150 children and 15 $10 gift cards for the teen volunteers. We will also be face painting at the party.

We still need your help! Monetary donations for food and stocking stuffers would be much appreciated and of course face painters are needed! You don’t have to be a pro and it’s a lot of fun.  All Kirkwood and Meacham Park children are invited to attend, Saturday, December 15, 1-4 pm at the Kirkwood Community Center.

For questions, donations or to volunteer please contact Anne Skelton or 314-602-8622. Thank you!
