On the first Thursday of each month, our church houses up to 10 guests for dinner, an overnight stay and breakfast the following morning.
Our guests, mostly women and children, are from a homeless shelter founded by the Sisters of Divine Providence in Bridgeton, MO. This is a transitional program aiding families to find permanent homes, employment and financial counseling.
We need volunteers to drive our guests to and from the shelter, cook for dinner and breakfast, set up crew for the mattresses, hospitality hosts and hostesses and innkeepers to spend the night.
