Easter Worship and Family Activites

Easter is a special time of worship reminding us all of the promise of everlasting life. Kirkwood United Methodist Church has several different service, styles and times for you to choose from to worship in your own way. All are welcome to attend. Just visiting in town this Easter and looking for a place to worship? Or, perhaps you don’t have an established church but would like to take part in these services for the holiday? Drop in! We’d love to have you.

Easter is also a time of families gathering together, so we’ve made sure to include some family fun too!   Here’s what we have planned for you this Easter:

Kirkwood United Methodist Church will hold a Holy Thursday Service on March 29th at 7 pm in the Sanctuary. All are welcomed to attend and take Holy Communion as we remember the Last Supper.

Grab your Easter basket and get ready to fill it! All are invited to celebrate this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, March 31 from 9 – 10:30 am at Kirkwood United Methodist Church.

Enjoy crafts, cookies, face painting, mission projects and an Egg Hunt with thousands of eggs.
Three different hunts – for toddlers, preschoolers and elementary age children – will be held throughtout  the morning. And don’t forget to have your picture made with the Easter Bunny!

The day of great celebration is here! Easter Sunday! You are invited to come and worship at KUMC to hear the Easter message, and share in the joy!

Maybe you have plans on Sunday and a Saturday evening would suit you best? Contemporary worship Saturday, March 31 at 5:05 pm would be perfect for you.

Or if Sunday is your preferred day, there are three different worship services on April 1 for you to choose from.

End your day of Easter Festivities with a family movie night at KUMC! You are invited for pizza, popcorn, drinks and Easter candy to enjoy the animated film, COCO, on the big screens in The Wood.

COCO encourages us to ask questions about the heritage left to us by our ancestors and asks us to consider the legacy we hope to leave those who will come after us. Rated PG, this movie is fun for the whole family.

Movie starts promptly at 5 pm and ends at 7 pm.
