No matter what language, no matter who, no matter what, singing Glory, Gloria, Gloire, or Glorie is about singing our faith!
In the Gospel accounts, the angelic chorus proclaimed Glory to God in the highest or
Gloria in excelsis Deo at the birth of Jesus.
Our worship, whether it be a contemporary idiom or a traditional idiom, proclaims Glory each and every worship hour. The Glory message can be delivered by preaching, by praying, by ringing, and by singing. |
 |
 |
This is your invitation to fill your hearts with music until it overflows in the proclaiming of Glory!
As an adult, it makes no difference whether you have sung for decades, or have not sung since high school days. As a child, you may sing silly songs, or as an adolescent you may sing pop songs. Being a participant in the Music Ministry will allow you to learn how to sing your praises to God and to fully worship God as we lead in worship.

 |
I am reminded that Johann Sebastian Bach as one of the greatest of all composers was a church musician his whole life. He practiced servant leadership through music ministry! At the conclusion of his compositions he penned soli deo Gloria—translated: to God alone be glory! What a reason to sing, ring or participate in the many opportunities of Music Ministry at Kirkwood United Methodist Church.

|
Come and let the music fill you until your spirit wants to shout Gloria in excelsis Deo, Glory to God in the Highest!
Please read about the starting dates and times for the music ministry groups. Then be prepared to come and share your gifts and talents. I look forward to your participation. If you have any questions, please contact me via email or telephone (314.966.8167).
Choirfully always singing Glory,
Dolan Bayless
