Jess Horsley preaching  Galatians 6: 1 – 10
Wed, Aug 15 @ 5:45pm
KUMC Chapel

After watching the first half of Avengers: Infinity War, we’ll discuss what it means to
“do good.” Are the Marvel superheroes really “doing good”…or are they just not doing evil?
The Apostle Paul had an idea about what it meant to “do good.”
But…WHO is called to do good? Most important – WHY is it important to “do good?”
The Apostle Paul has specific answers to these questions – answers that the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Dr. Strange, Spider-man and Marvel’s heroes seem to understand well!

Special Notice

Pool Party for Parents!
“Parents of Teens” & “The Middle” LifeGroup Info Meeting
Sun, Aug 19
1:00 – 3:00pm
Rich & Megan Daniels’ home/pool
(202 W Monroe Ave, 63122

This Sun, Aug 19 from 1:00 – 3:00pm, Rich & Megan Daniels are inviting parents of students – middle school, high school and college – to join them at their home and pool to learn more about two LifeGroups: the Parents of Teens (POT) and The Middle (a new group starting this fall).

Parents of Teens
A LifeGroup for those with pre-teens and/or teens. We are all aware of how challenging it is to raise teens in today’s world, and often look for the support and experience of other parents who are, or who have been, in the same place. Through this LifeGroup, we have the opportunity to share, learn, grow together and become the parents to our teens God intends for us. In addition, we also have some great fellowship events and several occasions each quarter to serve with our families in mission. We will meet on Sept. 16th & 30th, then every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month thereafter from 5-6:30pm at KUMC, Room 116.
The Middle
A new LifeGroup for adults who find themselves in “the middle”: midway, mid-career, midstream, midlife. It’s a time when you may have more flexibility and freedom than ever before, but you also may be part of the “sandwich generation”, supporting your parents as well as your children, or even grandchildren. The Middle is a place and time for reflection, celebration, planning and, often, anxiety. As a LifeGroup, The Middle is a supportive, sharing group exploring the blessings and challenges of being smack in the center of it all. This group, facilitated by Carey and Julie Adams, will begin meeting on Sept.9th, and continue every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month from 5-6:30pm at KUMC.
Join Rich, Megan and other parents like YOU this Sunday, Aug 19 from 1:00 – 3:00pm.
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday,

Rich & Megan Daniels (314-604-8868)
