Learn about Parents of Teens and The Middle LifeGroups
For anyone interested in learning more about our Parents of Teens (especially for our parents of new confirmands!) or our new LifeGroup, The Middle (for those in “the middle” of life), please join us on Sunday, August 19, 1-3 p.m. at the home of Rich and Megan Daniels.  We’ll hang around the pool (bring your towel and suit) and get to know each other better and answer any questions you have about these LifeGroups.  Please contact Megan, megan@kirkwoodumc.org, to let her know you’ll join us.

Mark Your Calendar for the Dan and Lois Flippen Memorial Red Cross Blood Drive — Sunday, August 26, 7:30 a.m. to
1 p.m.
Give the gift of life in memory of Dan and Lois.  Call Ron Koebbe at 314-965-5192 or Gary Splater at 314-966-5647 to make an appointment.

New LifeGroup — The Middle  A new LifeGroup will start soon for adults who find themselves in “the middle”: midcareer, midstream, midlife.  It’s a time of more flexibility and freedom than ever before, but you may be part of the “sandwich generation,” supporting your parents as well as your children, or even grandchildren.  The Middle is a supportive, sharing group exploring the blessings and challenges of being smack in the center of it all. We’ll begin meeting in September.  Questions? Please contact Carey Adams at Cha337@gmail.com or 314-440-4374 for more information.  We hope you can meet us in The Middle!
