KUMC’s Trivia and Auction Night is Saturday, April 7

I CAN!  March Mission Focus! 

During the month of March, our mission focus is on keeping our area food pantries stocked with nutritious, non-perishable foods.  Your donations will help stock our own KUMC Crisis Food Pantry, as well as the food pantries at Kingdom House, Kirk Care, Bellefontaine UMC and Circle of Concern.

Connections Coffee — Today, 11:30 a.m. 

For those new to this church, please join Carol Fischer and Pastor Dave in Room 201 for some information about our church over a casual cup of coffee.  Contact Carol at for information.

Ladies Learning Luncheon, Saturday, March 24, 11 a.m.

You are invited to join us for lunch and to learn about helping women and children around the world.  Share about an inspirational woman who was a positive leader in your life.  A delicious lunch of soup and salad will be served for a cost of $5.  Sign up in the church office for this informative, yet prayerful, time of learning sponsored by KUMW.

New LifeGroup — KUMC Cut-Ups 

Do you enjoy paper crafting…or would like to learn more about this creative hobby? Join us for our newest LifeGroup, the Cut-Ups, which will next meet in Room 107 at KUMC on March 27, 4-8 pm and the 4th Tuesday of each month thereafter.  Bring your paper crafting or scrapbooking supplies and spend time connecting as crafters and growing in faith!  Contact Cathy Poe at or Nelda Carlisle-Gray so they can fill you in on supplies you may need.


Friday, April 13 to Sunday, April 15 — “Footprints” at Mercy Center.  Sign-up informational brochures are now available in the church office.  This retreat will be led by Rev. Sue Mitch. Registration ends March 25.

Bunny Run Donations Needed 

Please drop off individually wrapped crackers to go in Bunny Run gift bags that are given to people working on Easter.

Easter Eggstravaganza — Saturday, March 31, 9 to 10:30 a.m

You are invited to bring your family and friends to a morning filled with crafts, cookies, face painting, music, mission opportunities, and of course, an egg hunt.  Don’t forget to get a picture with the Easter Bunny!

Easter Family Movie Night — April 1, 5-7 p.m. 

You are invited to bring your family and friends to watch CoCo.  Rated PG, this family-friendly movie will be shown on the big screens in The Wood.  Pizza, popcorn, drinks and Easter candy will be served.  All are welcome!

“Wonderfully Made” Class for Tweens, Saturday, April 21  

This human sexuality class for students ages 10-12 is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Lounge.  Led by doctors Derek Byers and Christy Morgan along with Niehsa Thomas, Children’s Ministry Director and Jess Horsley, Family and Student Ministries Director, this class celebrates that each of us are “wonderfully made.”  Online registration will be open soon.


Saturday, June 30 — Family Day at Busch Stadium 

The Cardinals will be taking on the Atlanta Braves in an evening game which starts at 6:15 p.m.  There’s a bobblehead giveaway to the first 30,000 fans.  Tickets are only $25 each.  Contact Gail Jones for tickets at 314-330-7333 or sign up and pay in the church office.
