You are invited to Saturday Connect! Come and check out the e four different programs offered below on Saturday evenings every month. Drop in to try one or try them all! You may just discover you have some very good friends to join each Saturday for fellowship and to learn new things. 

First Saturdays:

Tension Topics

First Saturdays of the month from 6:30 – 8:00 pm Tension Topics invites adults to share ideas and opinions about today’s hot-button issues. Conversation is facilitated by a psychiatrist and a pastor with the goal of learning, NOT debate and win. All are invited to share how they feel and what they know – or don’t know – about the topics and encourage others to do the same.

Second Saturdays:

Social Justice Movie Night

On the second Saturday of the month, you are invited to stay after for Social Justice Movie Night to see topical films on the big screen. Enjoy free popcorn, pizza and drinks and take part in the discussion after the film.

Third Saturdays:

Saturday Night Out

On third Saturdays, free extended childcare is offered to allow time for parents to gather away from church to enjoy social time together.
 
Enjoy and evening of food and fellowship at Schnucks Des Peres, 6:30 – 8:30 pm while your kids play at KUMC

Fourth Saturdays:

The Unbelievable Bible

Come to the lounge at KUMC at 6:30 pm for The Unbelievable Bible, a new small group and discussion time for people who want to dive deeper into Scripture and find out the unbelievable things pastors might not tell you in worship!

Know that you are invited to Common Worship on Saturdays at 5 pm in The Commons at Kirkwood United Methodist Church. Please feel free to join this casual, communal worship in a coffee shop type atmosphere. There is childcare and children’s church for kids.  Then feel free to make an evening of it and join in on any of the Saturday Connect events above!
